In the event of severe weather, parents are advised to listen to local radio stations – Free, Heart FM, Capital, Radio WM, Signal 1 for updates and to regularly check the City of Wolverhampton Council website and The Wolverhampton Today - school closures Facebook page.  

Even in severe weather schools are expected to operate normally wherever possible – children are expected to attend school, even if other schools in the local area are closed, unless parents have been
officially notified that the school is closed. 

If the school has to close then parents will be notified by the school’s text messaging facility as soon as possible – please ensure that we have your most up to date mobile phone number. We will also update our school website and our school Facebook page with information regarding any school closure.
